This trip is specifically designed for students of knowledge who are looking for a unique Umrah experience which includes studying a structured intensive programme.
What is included in the Umrah package?
The package includes 5-star hotels in Makkah and Madinah, intercontinental breakfast buffet, guided excursions to key historical sites, visas, an intensive daily study programme and VIP coach ground transport. Flights are not included.
Is this package suitable for first-time umrah pilgrims?
Yes, the package includes full guidance throughout the Umrah journey, ensuring that you are supported throughout the rites of the Umrah and that you complete it according to the authentic sunnah.
Can sisters come on the trip?
Yes, sisters are welcome to join the trip. However, they must be accompanied by a mahram (a male guardian, such as a husband, father, brother, etc.).
Are family members allowed to join?
Yes, family members are welcome, though the focus of the trip is on seeking knowledge. If they prefer not to participate in the lessons, they can join the other activities and excursions.
Can children come on the trip?
Children are allowed on the trip, but the structured study programme is designed for students of knowledge only. Other arrangements would need to be made for young children who are not able to sit through the lessons. Special pricing for children is available—please contact us for more details.
What are the exact dates of the trip?
The trip will take place from Thursday 5th December 2024 to Saturday 14th December 2024 for a duration of 9 nights. This is inclusive of 6 nights in Madinah and 3 nights in Makkah.
Does the package include excursions to other places?
Yes, in addition to Umrah, we have excursions planned to key historical and religious sites such as Mount Uhud, Masjid Quba, and Jabal Noor. A detailed itinerary will be shared with students before the trip.
Can I join the trip if I’m not a student of knowledge?
While the trip is primarily designed for students of knowledge, anyone with a strong desire to learn more about Islam is welcome to join.
How many spaces are available on the trip?

Is there a special price for children?

Can I choose who stays in my room?
Yes, you can request to share a room with friends or family members. Room allocation preferences will be considered and confirmed closer to the trip.
Is the trip only for students based in the UK?
No, the trip is open to students from all over the world. We welcome students from any country who are passionate about seeking knowledge.
Who will the trip be led by?
The trip will be led by Ustādh Maudud Ahmed who is an instructor at Sealed with Misk Institute. He is originally from the United Kingdom but he currently resides in Madinah, Saudia Arabia. He completed the esteemed six-year programme at Ma’had al-Haram in Masjid an-Nabawi, Madinah, which laid the foundation for his love and understanding of the Islamic sciences. Currently, he is pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Hadith at Kulliyyah al-Haram, also at Masjid an-Nabawi.
With his academic achievements and practical teaching experience, Ustādh Maudud is well-equipped to guide students of knowledge on their spiritual and educational journeys in-sha Allah.
Does the package include flights?
No, this is a non-flight Umrah package. Students are responsible for booking their own flights to Saudi Arabia.
What flights do you recommend?
We recommend booking incoming flights to Madinah (MED) and flying out from Jeddah (JED) after completing your Umrah in Makkah. Popular airlines flying from London to Madinah include British Airways, Saudia Airlines, and Gulf Air. There are also many budget airline options for those who want to travel at a lower cost such as WizzAir (return flights are available from £250). Ground transfer to and from the airport is not included. If you require any support please do not hesitate to contact us.
What time should we arrive in Madinah?
Students should aim to arrive in the Madinah hotel by 2pm on 5th December for hotel check-in. Specific instructions and meet up location will be provided closer to the departure date.
What time should we leave from Makkah?
The last lesson of the dawrah will finish at 10am on Saturday 14th December 2024. Check-out from the Makkah hotel will be at 12pm on the same day. Students may arrange their return transport/flight for any time after the last lesson.
How will we travel between Makkah and Madinah?
We will travel via VIP coaches, ensuring a comfortable and convenient journey for all the students.
Do I need a visa for entering Saudi Arabia?
Yes, you will need a visa. Please ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from the travel date.
Does the cost include a visa?
Visas are included for British nationals. For participants from other countries, there may be an additional cost for visa processing, please contact us for more information.

How much spending money should I bring?
You should bring enough money to cover your meals (except breakfast) and any personal spending, such as buying souvenirs, dates, Zamzam water, gifts for loved ones, and any additional excursions you may wish to organise for yourself.
Will we receive an itinerary?
Yes, you will receive a detailed itinerary prior to the departure date. It will include the daily study schedule, ibaadah (such as night prayers and reciting Qur’an), excursions, and free time.
What should I pack for the trip?

Can I go on any extra excursions myself?
Yes, students may choose to organise their own trips during their free time, provided that these trips do not interfere with their lesson attendance and group excursions.
