The Arabic Language Programme (Foundation Level) spans 2 years and is divided into 6 terms, each lasting 13 weeks. It follows the trusted Al-ʿArabiyyah Bayna Yadayk series and integrates tailored grammar courses to build both fluency and understanding.
Term 1: Units 1–4 of Al-ʿArabiyyah Bayna Yadayk (Book 1A)
Term 2: Units 5–8 of Al-ʿArabiyyah Bayna Yadayk (Book 1A)
Term 3: Grammar Level 1 — An Introduction to Arabic Grammar
Term 4: Units 9–12 of Al-ʿArabiyyah Bayna Yadayk (Book 1A)
Term 5: Units 13–16 of Al-ʿArabiyyah Bayna Yadayk (Book 1A)
Term 6: Sarf – Arabic Morphology – Level 1

No. All resources, including the book, will be readily available to download from the website. However, we highly recommend that students purchase a hard copy of the book (Al-‘Arabiyyah Bayna Yadayk) if they are able to do so.
Students are required to complete the weekly quizzes based on what they have learnt during the week and to complete any other tasks set by the teacher.
Yes, there are end of term exams to track student progress. The exams are taken online via the Student Portal.

In addition to this, it is recommended that students spend at least one hour per week reviewing the lesson material, completing the activities in the book and memorising new vocabulary.

Yes, we currently have the Foundation Level, we hope to release the Intermediate and Advanced Levels in the future where the next books from the Al-‘Arabiyyah Bayna Yadayk series will be taught, as well as modules based on Sarf and more advanced Grammar.
Each Level of the Arabic Language Programme is for a duration of 2 years.
Yes, The Arabic Language Programme was designed to compliment The Misk Programme (the Islamic Studies course). Students are encouraged to do both programmes if they are able to do so in-shā Allāh. We also have offers available for students who register for both courses at the same time.
